The Great Outdoors; games that can survive harsh environments (but likely won’t withstand a bear attack).

This past week, while visiting a little Caribbean island, I was determined to research good games that could hold up to wind, sand, water, and booze. But I got distracted by the sand, water, and booze. We ended up playing a few games, and I saw multiple groups playing games on the beach. As I watched people struggle to hold cards down, I thought to myself “what games would play well outside?” So on the flight back, I had more time to think about it and I’ve come up with a few short lists that should help anyone who wants to plan for some down time while vacationing or just a nice day at the park.
